The ranking of the following list of Germany’s best universities for overseas students is based on the QS World University Rankings, the world’s most-referenced rankings, as well as The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, THE Rankings for short, and the Shanghai Ranking, the Academic Ranking of World Universities by the Jiao Tong University. All entries scored high on all three lists for the years 2020/21.

1. Technical University of Munich
